Noob question about the Web3 Javascript API.
When I use web3.eth.getTransaction()
, the object that comes back has some properties that I cannot seem to find in the documentation. For example, here is what I'm seeing when I run web3.eth.getTransaction()
.
{ blockHash: '0xf2a40da650009deb5b064660c2b3fd8030a1bb0e9e92ed38ab66813cc366c7e0',

For comparison, here is what the Web3 JavaScript documentation shows:
{ "hash": "0x9fc76417374aa880d4449a1f7f31ec597f00b1f6f3dd2d66f4c9c6c445836d8b",

"value": BigNumber,
"gas": 314159,
"gasPrice": BigNumber,
"input": "0x57cb2fc4"}
What are the "v", "r", and "s" properties? And what are "s", "e", and "c" within the "value" object?
Is there an updated documentation I should be looking at? If it matters, I'm using web3 v 0.20.1
with a local instance of Geth.
