thank you Miroslaw.... I kind of getting the concept, but unsure how to proceed from here... 1) I create my custom ERC-20 Token 2) in the creation code I need to ensure I include a 'mapping (address => uint256) bannedBalances;' -> sorry for the stupid question, is there an existing method/function 'bannedBalanceOf' or I need to create it? 3)once created the toke, if I distribute it to ETH wallet addresses what I user can do with that? can they transfer them to other wallets? how will I "remove the tokens" if s user "gets penalties?
Thank you for your suggestion. I will create a custom token, therefore I'll look into the transfer options... potentially all points/tokens can be gained and lost... and at the same time, they should also be potentially be pur un a dex
thank you for your suggestion.... I like the idea of having a "hot wallet".... this is not just because "I dont trust employees", but also because some "user of the DApp" will not be my employee , but just external parties.... therefore : 1) they do not have any interest on spending their Ether/Gas 2) I dont have any agreement/contract that if I pre-charge their wallet, they wll not spend for something else... my I know more details on how to design a "hot wallet"? please
Thank you for the suggestion, I am keen to understand more about the logic.... how do I achieve what you suggest? will the employees share the same wallet address embedded into the DApp? mmm I am a bit confused...
thank you @ismael, where can I find info for light node (installation/specks/ storage requirements/network requirements etc.)? I simply need to find addresses balances and relative transactions (both ETH, and tokens)... does a light node handle this type of requests?
thank you for your suggestion... I will look into that.. but what I am trying to avoid is to install a "full node" in my infrastructure... (because in my case infura was not that great) My hypothesis was to try to interact to a "public node" like you can do with in Bitcoin (using Electrum nodes and JSON RPC calls)... Does Ethereum have a "public node infrastructure" or the only option is "infura"?
I have progressed on my "tests"... apologize if this is too low level, but I am a newbie in the Ethereum World.... below my steps: 1) created an account in infura.io in order to have access to a full node (t be used as EVM) 2) installed web3.js in nodejs -> npm install web3 3) got ethereum balance with: web3.eth.getBalance(address [, defaultBlock] [, callback]) (connecting to the infura server) Is it there any way to list and look on all token generating contracts? How site like this one ethplorer.io gets the individual token balances?
