At least since 2019 stackoverflow.com ecosystem of sites become actively used as an political instrument in terms of influence and shaping opinions of masses:

1. hot stackexchange questions in sidebar do not represent a genuine questions, but serve agenda of some groups in the power

2. some questions (and answers) are fake, artificially made with a political aim

3. rating of user and specific question become tampered to high or low values to meet some narrative

4. some answers are intentionally wrong

5. what else?

Joel sold his business (SO) in 2021 which only accelerates negative trends observed early.
