Prysm and private network

apparently prysm and geth are two separate clients for separate eth versions. prysm -> eth2 and geth-> eth1 you DONT need to have prysm in order to run geth

Sync Error after The Merge

Seems related to connection to "bad" peers in early sync. I have done a resync after the Merge and got the same error a lot.

The Merge: should I stick with jsonrpc or move to eth api's?

The merge will involve switching the consensus algorithm from PoW to PoS. If your app uses json-rpc endpoints like geth, infura, etc. then making sure the node supports the merge should be enough.
