On Bitcoin there are charts and statistics providing an estimation on the average time until a new transactions are included in a mined block, as https://www.blockchain.com/charts/avg-confirmation-time. Is there something similar for Ethereum?

You can use Etherscan's Gas Tracker facility: https://etherscan.io/gastracker

On the right of the page you'll see a chart showing the mean confirmation times for different gas prices.

  • Much thanks Richard. Do you now whether there exists something similar also for Algorand?

  • Hmm. I've had a quick look, but can't see anything. I suppose you could look at the mean transactions per second (TPS), and then see how full the blocks are? If the blocks aren't full then all transactions are being included in a block every time a blocks is produced (4.25 seconds). algoexplorer.io/top-statistics Apr 22, 2021 at 8:25
  • Thanks Richard. Unfortunately, etherscan.io/gastracker is limited only to the last 1000 mined blocks... do you know whether there exists webpages that offer charts on historical data (e.g., transactions included in blocks mined in 2019)
