I am running a throughput test on a private geth blockchain. The test sends 500 transactions rapidly and then waits for their confirmations in order to measure transactions per second. However, I've noticed that the automining function groups my transactions into 90 per block which is equal to total of 3 294 720 gas per block. I have set the block gas limit to 10 000 000 so miners should be able to fit a lot more transactions per block. My question is if there is a way to create a script which tries to maximize transactions per block? Or if I set some kind of a delay between sequential blocks are mined could that help?
