I've played around with the gastoken.io GST2 contract in remix (and on the mainnet) and immediately stumbled across the following problem:

If I want to free previously minted token the execution of the transaction fails if I get above a certain threshold (freeing 1-2 tokens is working, but more than that the execution fails) - independent of available gas (so the transaction got enough gas to not fail with 'out of gas').

The contract can be found on Etherscan and GitHub.

I already tried their example contracts (1)(2), combinations of them and adding a more gas consuming function.

Here is what Remix outputs:

  • Failing transaction: Failing transaction
  • Succeeding transaction: Succeeding transaction

Can someone help me understand what I am doing wrong?

  • Do you have the hash of the transactions in mainnet, ropsten or rinkeby? – Ismael Nov 12 '19 at 0:35
