i'm deploying my private chain in Ubuntu16.04, everything works fine, and i can connect to the node by the command mist --rpc /geth.ipc,but when i have to connect the private chain and mist offline, it stoped with this

Error checking for update { RequestError: Request timed out at timeoutFn (/root/mist/node_modules/got/index.js:131:53) at asPromise (/root/mist/node_modules/got/index.js:134:9) at got (/root/mist/node_modules/got/index.js:386:10) at exports.check (/root/mist/modules/updateChecker.js:28:10) at Object.exports.run (/root/mist/modules/updateChecker.js:69:3) at onReady (/root/mist/main.js:169:19) at App.<anonymous> (/root/mist/main.js:146:5) at Generator.next (<anonymous>) at step (/root/mist/main.js:25:191) at /root/mist/main.js:25:361 at <anonymous> name: 'RequestError', code: 'ETIMEDOUT', host: 'api.github.com', hostname: 'api.github.com', method: 'GET', path: '/repos/ethereum/mist/releases/latest', protocol: 'https:', url: 'https://api.github.com/repos/ethereum/mist/releases/latest' }

I can understand the reason to update, but is there any way to stop the process? Cuz i have to do it offline, thanks
