I want to know how smart contracts work. When only one smart contract is deployed, can all nodes access it or not?

Yes, in Ethereum, a smart contract is part of the state. This state is sharded across all full nodes – Henk Aug 10 at 10:11
  • @Henk Shouldn't that be shared or replicated? The state isn't sharded (yet) – Raghav Sood Aug 10 at 10:37

Correct, that was a typo. I meant shared – Henk Aug 10 at 10:54
