This is an example of the hex value for the localhost and for kovan .Since kovan is deprecated I'm left with testing it out with goerli and am not able to find the network Id, i tried "5" and also "0x5" but that didnt work. Metamask shows 5 as chain id. But all of them should work 5, 0x5, 0x05, etc. Perhaps, you forgot to enable the test networks metamask. If the error persists you should indicate what error you are getting, check the browser console for debug messages.– Ismael ♦Feb 28 at 18:39
