So I found out that some tokens behave a bit differently than a normal ERC20 token would. For example:

  • USDC has only 6 decimals
  • USDT does not return a value after the transfer
  • USDT does not allow to change allowance if it wasn't previously set to 0
  • MRK has metadata encoded in bytes32 instead of String

so are there any others that we developers should be aware of?
