For certain contracts on Ethereum (example), I can connect my web3 wallet and execute functions. For others (example), I don't see this option on Etherscan -- instead there is a link to verify and publish the source code. How can I execute functions for such a contract?

I've used the "Decompile Bytecode" button to get an idea of the functions therein, and I've identified the function by what looks like an address (0x87d1355c). Where do I go from there if I want to execute this function?

I am new to the space but eager to learn, and hoping for a hint for which direction my research should take.
