Sometimes when I send transactions to some of my providers (using web3.js), they keep them pending on their pool (maybe in a queue) for a while before really processing them and including transactions in the blockchain. The problem is that processing them after a certain amount of time (maybe a specific block number) is completely useless and has no result for me but consuming high gas fees!
Is there any option to tell the provider (or miner) not to process a transaction if special conditions are met? If it is possible, does it still consume gas fee?

Unfortunately as of 2021-07-18 Ethereum's transactions do not have such capability. After some time you can send a replacement but even in that case it is not a sure thing the original transaction will be replaced.
