I'm trying to optimize the speed between the time the tx is sent and the tx is mind on polygon (matic) blockchain via web3.

I tried to raise significantly the gasPrice but it still takes a lot of time. For example yesterday, I sent a transaction via web3.eth.sendSignedTransaction() at block 16169004 and it got processed mined at block 16169347 . It's a lot of time

I put the following gas price but it did not help enter image description here

So I was wondering how is that possible? Is it my interaction with the rpc which is too slow? Is there a clear lifecycle diagram which show what happened after you sent a signed transaction to the rpc via HTTP or websocket?

Thanks in advance for any enlightenments or tips.

  • Are you using your own RPC node ? your node can hold transactions as pending or queried for some time. Jun 28 at 10:36
