Timeline for web3.eth.sign sometimes gives V parameter of 54 or 55, ecrecover then fails. What's going on?

The thing I should have made clearer is that this function works the first time(v = 0 + 27) and then when I run it again is when it fails(v = 27 + 27). If I restart my web server(not my node) it works again. | |
