@Rudrika: What about my GETH configuration? It is pointless to change only the genesis file. As far as I know, if you want to enable mining, then you must configure --etherbase as well. Also, I'm pretty sure that --minerthreads is not supported on GETH for Windows. And I'm pretty sure that I had to use --lightkdf as well. Have you tried all of these?
