May 23, 2018 at 5:08 comment added Russo So if gas <= gasUsed, then the transaction is successful? Please clarify. Thanks
Jan 23, 2018 at 7:53 comment added BokkyPooBah @Andromelus, you will have to set byzantiumBlock in the genesis file for the status field to be active - see github.com/bokkypoobah/DeveryCrowdsale/blob/master/test/…
Jan 22, 2018 at 20:20 comment added Max Do you control all nodes in the network?

Jan 18, 2018 at 11:21 comment added Max @Andromelus are you on Ethereum mainnet?
Jan 18, 2018 at 9:24 comment added Itération 122442 @Max This does not seem to be true, I use Geth/v1.7.3-stable-4bb3c89d/linux-amd64/go1.9 and I don't have the status property
Oct 28, 2017 at 16:06 comment added Max Please add to your answer that client version should be 1.7.3 or above. Older clients still don't provide status field

Jun 14, 2016 at 10:08 comment added Aman C Thanks for an elaborate reply. I looked at the other question (ethereum.stackexchange.com/questions/6007/… ) which you had posted, so can we for sure looking at the last error field of the debug.traceTransaction state that the transaction has failed or not?
