Mar 14, 2018 at 20:25 | comment | added | jazzhole | I'm definitely giving bridge enough time to deploy its contracts. When I have the "wait" command in there, it seems to run correctly, so I think that answers the question of truffle wiping the bridge contracts. I'll make a reproducable version of this and post to the bridge github page pretty soon.

Before you are running any tests, are you providing ample time for the bridge to deploy the required contracts on your privatenet? Also, make sure the truffle tests aren't resetting the blockchain back to before the contracts were deployed.
Mar 8, 2018 at 17:44 | comment | added | jazzhole | I added a few seconds of sleep before and after the ethereum bridge related javascript statements, and now my other tests are working also.
Mar 8, 2018 at 17:12 | comment | added | jazzhole | Ok, if you're trying to do this, make sure you first try with no other truffle tests. After I removed my other (non bridge related) tests from the test folder, it ran ok. No idea why at this point.

Mar 8, 2018 at 16:27 | comment | added | jazzhole | So the verdict is that my call works about 5% of the time. As far as I can tell, ethereum bridge is just broken, as I'm following all documentation and instructions and am still getting this "key not found in database" error. Maybe I'll create a github issue.
Mar 8, 2018 at 4:59 | comment | added | jazzhole | Now I'm getting this error again. Confusing.

Mar 6, 2018 at 20:40 | comment | added | jazzhole | Okie dokie -- it's working now that I'm starting ganache with the command line tool and unlocking account 1. with ganache-cli -u 0 -u 1 and then starting ethereum bridge with node bridge -H localhost:7545 -a 1 --dev and then running truffle test. Though my contracts aren't deploying correctly now. But ethereum bridge is working.
Mar 6, 2018 at 20:17 | comment | added | jazzhole | I'm still getting the same error in active mode.
Mar 6, 2018 at 17:26 | comment | added | jazzhole | Might be good to add a straightforward explanation about the difference between these to the readme --github.com/oraclize/ethereum-bridge/blob/master/README.md
