Jul 31, 2023 at 7:30 comment added Lauri Peltonen a "random ERC20 useless token" would most likely be written with a non-underflowing version, so it wouldn't help. And I still don't understand how that would help much, since we want to find out why your code reverts, not the code of some other token. Feel free to poke me in Telegram or so if you need further help (link through profile)
Jul 30, 2023 at 22:50 comment added 19216811 I mean that you use the "TransferTokens" contract and use a random ERC20 useless token you have by pasting in the contract address, and test if it can underflow, because I can't get it to underflow even if I remove the transfer checks
Jul 30, 2023 at 15:44 comment added Lauri Peltonen sorry, a bit too much of a hassle to start importing those and fixing imports and names and... But I don't understand how "test ERC20 token that you have laying around" are related? I would only need to modify your ERC20 to remove its transfer checks, deploy it and call its transfer, right?
Jul 30, 2023 at 14:27 comment added 19216811 (when I say test my code, I mean test underflowing test ERC20 tokens)
Jul 30, 2023 at 14:13 comment added 19216811 Btw, normal underflows not involving ERC20 or in this case EIP20 works just fine. It underflows fine.
Jul 30, 2023 at 13:39 comment added 19216811 Can you test my codes with a test ERC20 token that you have laying around in your wallet, and if you have discord or Whatsapp, can you send me a screenshot if it worked for you? You can just tell me here if you want
Jul 30, 2023 at 13:37 comment added Lauri Peltonen No, that should be fine. I also wrote and tested the above snippet in Remix
Jul 30, 2023 at 11:39 comment added 19216811 I'm using the remix.ethereum.org website to do this, does that have to do with anything?
