I have generated a crowdsale contract with start and end date time. I want to add a CROWDSALEend function. This function will end the crowdsale before end time if the goal is reached and the function will only be called by the owner. Below is my code for Crowdsale.

pragma solidity ^0.4.18;

contract ERC20Basic {
  uint256 public totalSupply;
  function balanceOf(address who) public view returns (uint256);
  function transfer(address to, uint256 value) public returns (bool);
  event Transfer(address indexed from, address indexed to, uint256 value);
}

library SafeMath {
  function mul(uint256 a, uint256 b) internal pure returns (uint256) {
    if (a == 0) {
      return 0;
    }
    uint256 c = a * b;
    assert(c / a == b);
    return c;
  }

  function div(uint256 a, uint256 b) internal pure returns (uint256) {
    // assert(b > 0); // Solidity automatically throws when dividing by 0
    uint256 c = a / b;
    // assert(a == b * c + a % b); // There is no case in which this doesn't hold
    return c;
  }

  function sub(uint256 a, uint256 b) internal pure returns (uint256) {
    assert(b <= a);
    return a - b;
  }

  function add(uint256 a, uint256 b) internal pure returns (uint256) {
    uint256 c = a + b;
    assert(c >= a);
    return c;
  }
}

    bool nonZeroPurchase = msg.value != 0;
    return withinPeriod && nonZeroPurchase;
  }

  function hasEnded() public view returns (bool) {
    return now > endTime;
  }

  function GoalReached() public view returns (bool) {
    return (weiRaised >= CAP);
  }

}

Can anyone help me with this. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Right now the only function that you have that cares about whether or not the crowdsale has ended is the buyTokens() function.

You could add a new state variable bool hasPrematurelyEnded and add a function that can only be called by the owner that sets this bool to true.

Then, on buyTokens() and other functions that should check this, you could add require(!hasPrematurelyEnded);.

  • That solution worked for me. Thanks for your time :) Jan 2, 2018 at 12:56
